Featherlites on display at Congress

CRESCO, Iowa/Oct. 9, 2008—Featherlite is rolling out the “biggest ideas” in horse trailer innovations with its new 2009 models at the Ohio All American Quarter Horse Congress trade show, which opens to the public today. Featherlite will have nearly 60 trailers on display both indoors and outdoors during Congress. A few of the eye-catching and unique trailers and options horse owners will see at Congress include:

• Dual Color Side Sheets –Several Featherlite horse trailers will be on display with Featherlite’s new vibrant dual color side sheets. Horse owners can choose to partner colors from Featherlite’s standard array of colors including white, black, silver, red, blue and mocha tan or choose from others, such as yellow or orange, to enhance their trailer’s exterior design.
• Painted Roof Rail – Unique color choices are also available on the roof rail of Featherlite horse trailers, like the Model 8541 at Congress with a yellow roof rail. Other stylish add-ons with this trailer include a stainless steel wrap, a raised feather on the gooseneck and aluminum wheels.
• Front Slideout Living Quarters – This bumper pull features a living quarters, complete with a slideout in the front of the trailer for additional living space.
• Featherlite 53-ft. ‘Country Estate’ – The Featherlite Country Estate model features a massive 33-ft. Sierra living quarters with four slideouts. Behind the owners’ living quarters is an upper-deck three-horse slant load plus one-horse straight load configuration. Interior amenities include a slate-finished fireplace, copper sinks, hand scraped old barn hickory floors in 5-inch planks, a 32-inch flat screen TV that emerges from behind the mantle with remote-control power lift and many more!
• Featherlite Living Quarters configured with Nintendo Wii® - This 23-ft. double slide has a rear bedroom that doubles as an entertainment suite. It sports a leather fold-out electric couch, a wet bar and a Nintendo Wii. There is also a Wii gaming console outside on the trailer!
• “Euro” Featherlite - The Euro Featherlite is configured so that horses can be loaded from the rear and unloaded through the front. Mangers are engineered into both trailer sides for extraordinary storage capacity. And a large “vending” door is positioned in the front of the trailer. The door lifts up on a horizontal hinge to allow more light and air to flood into the horse area, creating a more compelling environment for horses that are sometimes hard to load.
